Techniques

‘Technique’ refers to the style of adjustment given to a patient. This can include the use of hands only or with the help of a table and/or instrument. Factors that determine what technique we use include the patient's age and their history of trauma, surgeries, diseases, arthritis, ranges of motion, scoliosis, congenital defects and their responses to previous adjustments.

The doctors of Strater Family Chiropractic are trained and efficient in many techniques and mainly practice with the following:

          Diversified                                                         Activator Methods
          Gonstead                                                          Palmer Package
Toggle Upper Cervical Specific                         Sacral-Occipital Technique (SOT)
Webster (for in-utero constraint)                     Extremity Adjusting (arms, legs & jaw)

Please do not hesitate to call the office if there are any questions about any of these.
